- Statement of Club's Aims -

The only purpose of this club is to promote art which comes straight from life. Draw from life. Paint from Life. Sculpt from life. Sew from life. Scratch, cut, stipple, rub, stick, carve, drip, spray, from life. Anything you can think of, but your reference must be in front of you, no working from photographs, no working from your minds eye. No disconnection, no secondary sources.



- How to Join -

Watch the club, and send us a note titled "Join", if you feel like it you can include your first submissions in the note as well.

Once you've joined, you can say hello, or anything else you'd like, here.  

There's no obligation, but if you wanted to it would be really great if you'd put our icon or a link to us on your page!


- How to Submit -

Once you have joined, send the club a note entitled " Submit" with links to the pieces you'd like to submit, and any information you'd like me to include when uploading them to the club.

Draw the best you can out of life.

Lauren Adams is a native of Fairmont, WV and an alumna of Fairmont State University and West Virginia University. She holds a BA Interdisciplinary degree in Studio Art and French as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting.
She has been awarded the Whetstone Journal Award of Excellence for the 2004 and 2006 Editions, Outstanding Visual Art Student of 2006, Chairperson’s Choice and Best of Show at the 2006 FSU Student Juried Art Exhibition. Lauren has shown her work at the California University of Pennsylvania, the James Brooks Memorial Gallery, Cooper Gallery, the Randolph County Arts Center and the Alan B. Mollohan Innovation Center.


Hello! I founded this club. I'm 21 years old, female, Irish, studying Printmaking/Art and Design in college. I love art, music, my cat,  sugar-free(unfortunately) chocolate.
My favorite artist is probably Franz Marc, I like to work in different media when I can, I'd say I draw more often in Ball Point Pen than anything else, and I especially like Lithography and Etching in college.
I like to think that I am working towards something significant, but if I never get there, I think I can be content with knowing that I "lived humbly for a cause." so to speak.



If you want some things about you to appear here send us a note entitled "Bio", it should be 100 words or less! It doesn't matter how short it is, even a sentence is great. I only realized how hard it was to write them when I tried to write one my self as an example.
Maybe it will help if you try to think about questions like "Why I make art." "What art means to me" "In what direction I hope to develop in the future".. Or you can just write "I'm a lumberjack and I'm ok"
It really doesn't matter!
